A good first aid kit is really an essential for everyone. One of those things you just don’t think about until you need one. Sure I have lots of first aid stuff scattered about the house in different places, but having a complete on in ONE place is rally hand if you need it in an emergency.
So I keep one in my house and have another one ready for travel. Travel First aid kits are handy for any type of travel – road trips, camping trips, airplane travel, international travel, cruises and more.
And of course for a natural disaster like a tornado or flood it is crucial to have something already assembled and handy just to grab and take with you. And in case of a Zombie attack you will be prepared 🙂
Of course you can put one together as a DIY project, but I’m not that ambitious. I just bought a couple. Buying one is not only easier, but sometimes even more cost effective than putting one together yourself.
Plus if you are like me you will forget an important item for the kit if you put it together yourself. Buying one assures you that you will have what you need in the kits, packed and ready. Leave it to me to leave out the ONE thing I needed in an emergency!
I got the small 92 piece first aid kit for the house. It has a little clip hook on it and I put a small hook in the front hall closet and hooked it there. I got the small 66 piece for travel. It is small and with the shell case will be protected in my suitcase. I also decided to get another one just for the car for everyday use and got another one of the 66 piece ones since it has an emergency blanket in it.
One of these travel kits would also make a wonderful gift for anyone, but especially travelers.
